Requirements

Before enrolling in this course, students are expected to possess the fundamental mathematical knowledge required for numerical analysis. They should have a solid understanding of real-variable function analysis, including derivatives, limits, continuity, and Taylor series, as these concepts form the basis for many numerical methods presented throughout the course.

Students should also be familiar with basic matrix calculus, including matrix operations, dimensions, determinants, and invertibility. This background will enable them to understand and implement numerical algorithms efficiently. In addition, basic computer skills and the ability to use mathematical software or programming environments are recommended to support practical applications and computational exercises during the course.
